Broken pipes can happen for many reasons; freezes, corrosion, or age. This commercial water loss happened due to corrosion in the pipes that eventually weakened a joint and flooded the place. To make things worse the flood happened over a weekend and the water has sat for some time.

Our water technicians started out by extracting the excess water from off the floor, disinfecting the floors, and then laying down air movers to help dry the floor faster. However, drying concrete floors takes some time since there were linoleum tiles on top. There was no need to remove the tiles but it did take some time to dry under those circumstances.
